Examples QUASI

Program QUASI is the quasistatic analysis tool in GENSYS. The program can be used for many different purposes, for example:

• Wheel unloading
  Calculation of wheel unloading on twisted track. How to use QUASI in wheel unloading analysis, please look in railroad analysis.

• Roll coefficient
  Calculation of roll coefficient. How to use QUASI in roll coefficient analysis, please look in railroad analysis.

• Calculation of wear index v.s. curve radius
  How to use QUASI when creating diagrams over wear index v.s. designed track curve radius, is shown in the example $gensys/verif/tutorial/vhe_bobo_wear. The results from a wear index calculation can be seen in the following plot.
  

• Initial values
  Calculation of the initial values for program MODAL, FRESP or TSIM. In command initval read_gpdat the user can feed the results from QUASI into a new calculation in MODAL, FRESP or TSIM.
