Gensys.2112

Rel.2112 is an upgrade package based on Rel.2101.

Before downloading and installing this release, Rel.2101 must already exist on your computer.

Installation of Rel.2112 is made according to the following instructions:

Create directory "/opt/gensys/gensys-2112" by writing:
mkdir -p /opt/gensys/gensys-2112
To directory "/opt/gensys/gensys-2112", download file:
gensys-2112.txz
If you have problems with downloading the file.
Please check the following:
- Make sure that no firewall prevents you from downloading files from the Internet.
- Try different web-browsers, including modern versions of Firefox and Chrome.
If the file has been successfully downloaded:
The size of file gensys-2112.txz should be 152466316.
The sha256sum message digest can be evaluated with the command:
sha256sum gensys-2112.txz
The output from the command should be:
962cc90d2e5b4a3b14036529228a6798177014158ac133d004115e704007df64 gensys-2112.txz
Go to directory "/opt/gensys/gensys-2112" and uncompress the tarball:
tar -xJvkp --file=gensys-2112.txz
Copy the license file from gensys-2101:
copy -ip /opt/gensys/gensys-2101/bin/gen_processor_ID_check /opt/gensys/gensys-2112/bin
Open the following four files for editing:
```
op ~/.profile_gensys
op ~/.octaverc
op ~/Desktop/genfile.desktop
op ~/Desktop/genterm.desktop
```
in all files change to "gensys-2112"
(directory "~" is your home directory i.e. "/home/gensys")
Log out and in again to make the change to take effect.
